Many of us are experiencing a “new normal” in our professional lives and daily routines, which includes working from home and being separated from colleagues. With no daily commute that eats into the day, we are using some of the newfound time to reflect, begin new hobbies (like baking sourdough goods), or learn new career skills.
Salesforce is a critical part of my job and one that requires ongoing maintenance of skills to benefit both myself and my colleagues. What you put into it is what you get out of it, and so I am using some of this time looking for ways to add more value through additional Salesforce training. Salesforce offers a plethora of excellent learning paths through their Trailhead program – but where to start? One great way to find out is to take The State of Salesforce Experience.
If the name rings familiar, that’s because it’s the interactive companion to Bluewolf’s 8th annual The State of Salesforce report that provides global industry insights on how the best companies are using Salesforce today.
Launched at Dreamforce 2019, The State of Salesforce Experience is an interactive assessment where Salesforce users like you have the opportunity to benchmark yourself against the results of the report.
I took the assessment and discovered I'm a "Mobilizer” and received a description of my strengths, a prescription to learn more, and a link to a Salesforce Trailhead “Trailmix” that aligns with my result.
The State of Salesforce 2020
This year’s report highlighted four key industry trends, demonstrating how the best companies are:
-Leveraging data integration to provide a holistic, 360-degree view of customers
-Scaling AI to provide an enhanced employee and customer experience
-Enabling sellers with better mobile capabilities through advances in 5G
-Increasing their Salesforce ROI through dedicated round-the-clock management solutions
The State of Salesforce Experience is also rooted in these trends.
How it works
Once you enter the experience, you will take a short assessment based on your role, job function, and relationship with how you use Salesforce. After completing the experience, you earn one of nine outcomes based on your score (of your answers). With each result, you receive a unique evaluation of your current usage and a prescription for further success with Salesforce.
In addition to your evaluation, you’ll receive two data-rich assets designed to help increase your Salesforce knowledge and skillset:
1: A digital download (PDF) of this year’s The State of Salesforce report
2: A custom, curated Salesforce Trailhead “Trailmix”, co-produced with Salesforce, to accelerate your skills based on your assessment outcome.
We also published a companion blog that provides more detail about the uniquely curated Salesforce Trailhead “Trailmixes” that accompany The State of Salesforce Experience and how they can help customers increase their skills.
Discover your own unique outcome – or even learn more about what a “Mobilizer” is – and visit The State of Salesforce Experience. And learn some new skills and then go bake some bread.
